  Mercado del Mundo is a three year old company started by mother and daughter team, JoAnne Duncan and Leah Oviedo.  JoAnne has plenty of business experience after owning and operating a hotel and retreat center for ten years.  Leah has a degree in Fashion Design and has been sewing and designing clothing and purses for most of her life.

  Both women believe in giving back and supporting small businesses.  They represent independent artists, designers and entrepreneurs by adding new designers and artists each season.

  The Wrinkle Free Clothing is marvelous for those women who are constantly on the go or just don’t want to iron.  The Silk Ruanas, Wraps and Shawls spice-up any outfit from that little black dress to jeans and T-shirts.  Each piece of silk is hand painted and some are hand beaded.  the jewelry is from a diverse group of artists ranging from Dichroic Glass to pendants made from Woolly Mammoth Tusks!  Reusable shopping bags that fold-up into a pouch are all one of a kind, designed and sewn by Leah.
